Sara Balsamo – DECEASED TOMORROW

Sara Balsamo

CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK

Deceased Tomorrow reinterprets “This is Tomorrow” (1956) to reflect on a present dominated by digital overload, environmental crisis, and alienation. Through animation—the visual language of our time—the project utilizes the very codes of social media and mass media to question their power. The title evokes a future already extinguished: a tomorrow suffocated by a present that consumes itself and ceases to imagine change.
