CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK
Pathetic Poetic Justice is a video essay documenting an ongoing eight-month performance built around the dissolution of a relationship. The artist engages Gattouz0 (Youssef Khalil), a porn star and fitness influencer with a total following of around two million people across various social media platforms, to convey through his presence and voice—in a language that is not his own—words she cannot speak herself.
