Alessia Caruso – GRAIN

Four diners sit around a table. Before them, only a straw, a napkin, and a service bell. At the sound of the bells, a waiter prepares and serves them a plate containing a single grain of rice, which is consumed by sucking it through the straw. The ritual repeats, again and again. When one of the diners suddenly breaks their plate, time seems to stop for a moment. But the system finds a way to restore order, and the cycle begins once more.
