In a liquid age, we need to evolve beyond the tangible. What lies beyond the material? Beyond the flesh of painting? The artist’s research is tied to the invention of shapes and symbolisms that investigate the real and the intangible through mental images and a layered, gestural use of paint, moving between destruction, reconstruction, and the healing of the wound.
