CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK
The project documents the restoration of the polychrome wooden sculpture representing Pope Saint Clement, dating back to the first half of the 14th century, combining historical-artistic research, diagnostic investigations, and conservative interventions. It also explores the relationship between preventive conservation and restoration through the study of the display context and long-term protection strategies.
