Matteo Alba – Segni nel tempo

In his workshop in Porto Torres, among wooden blocks and inks, Master Giovanni Dettori passes down the ancient art of woodcut printmaking. Here, surrounded by students, he works with dedication, and the creative gesture becomes a collective act to preserve a knowledge that defies time. Dettori’s work transforms into an act of resistance, capable of imprinting the trace of an ancient mastery onto paper and through time. “Segni nel Tempo” (Signs in Time) is a portrait of an artist that explores the bond between teaching and memory, between legacy and the future.
