CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK
“The Story” is a series of five woodcuts on tulipwood, integrated with fragments of color printed from linoleum blocks and inspired by the last five albums by Twenty One Pilots. The works depict a journey of liberation from a fictional city that embodies negative emotions. The woodcuts visually represent the escape routes from these emotional states, while the colors used directly recall the distinctive color palettes of each album.
