Francesco Maggiora – Margine

The artist climbs the structure of a billboard on the side of a busy road. The body enters the frame of the billboard, exposes itself, exits it, allowing itself to be included or excluded. For the artist, the work takes the form of a stream of consciousness that finds its place inside an image. The voice has the intimate tone of a voice note sent to a friend, a device that shifts the poetic message toward a very informal tone. The saturated blue of the sky and the color of the grass give the scene a vibrant, cinematic character.
