Min Hui Yun – Fang

MIN HUI YUN

CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK

Fang takes its name from Zhuangzi: “in birth there is death, in death there is birth”. The images on the four sides of the cube represent different stages of life and, by overlapping from different viewpoints, suggest the coexistence of past, present, and future. The work invites reflection on a non-linear time and on the potential meaning of life in the present moment.
