Annachiara Sottili – La decorazione pittorica di Bernardino Poccetti e bottega nella Cappella Corsini nella chiesa di San Gaggio a Firenze

ANNACHIARA SOTTILI

CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK

The research addresses the treatment of losses resulting from the collapse of two large sections of a painted reed ceiling, attributed to Bernardino Poccetti or his workshop, in the church of the monastery of Santa Caterina al Monte, known as San Gaggio, in Florence. It analyzes the recovery of the painted surfaces and the reed support, delving into conservation methodologies for a construction technique that remains under-researched, and proposing integration protocols.
