CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK
The project investigates the transition of the digital image into a physical object. Referencing The Milk of Dreams, Burri, and Giuliana Bruno’s theories of surface, it addresses the materiality of the image in the age of artificial intelligence. An unmanipulated photograph is printed and mounted on a transparent and reflective support, which alters its perception and blurs the boundaries between reality and representation.
