Giorgia Guaglianone – Domino dei Cieli

Giorgia Guaglianone

CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK

Domino dei Cieli stems from the desire to give physical form to the tension between preservation and loss. Inspired by Jenga blocks, the work becomes a participatory game in which every gesture alters a precarious balance. Every removed or shifted element represents the way we interact with memory: in attempting to preserve it, we inevitably end up transforming it.
