CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK
What happens after the image? What remains of the sharp outlines of representation, of the clear traces of the external world? Sometimes light generates a strange clouding, creating acidic persistences in the visual field that transform naturalistic vision into a hallucinatory experience. The photographic sensor acts as a double of the retina and, dazzled, records not the canonical image of reality, but its residual trace—an inner, phantasmic landscape.
