CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK
My grandfather passed away in 1994, and I was born in 2003. The book collects and preserves materials such as birth certificates, archival photographs, documents, traces, and shots taken during the ritual I performed for him. It unfolds on two parallel levels: the upper section narrates the history of my grandfather’s family, while below the line, my own experience and actions take shape. It becomes a shared space where our stories intertwine and find a visible form.
