CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK
The study begins with the degradation of the flexible polyurethane of Monachesi’s Evelpiuma. Tests on samples made it possible to identify solutions for the consolidation and mending of a tear near the artist’s signature. Accelerated aging of the samples guided the definition of the conservation strategy.
