CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK
Upon dictating the words “Troppo poco tempo”, the smartphone—with a keyboard set to English—records the sound frequency /trpktmp/, transforming the original phrase into “Tropical temple”. The error, amplified by the slowness of embroidery, is fixed onto the fabric as if to compensate for the destiny of its erasure. In the installation, the silk represents the threshold separating the physical world from the digital one in the background: a continuously scrolling archive of errors.
