CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK

Baci dalla Periferia is a project that reinterprets the 19th-century tradition of decorative ceramics by replacing idealized rural landscapes with imagery of contemporary suburbs and industrial areas. Through a series of ceramic vases, the work critically reflects on the mechanisms of landscape representation, questioning stereotypes and collective imaginaries while restoring aesthetic dignity to often marginalized places.
