CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK
The project stems from the board game “Risk”, on which the borders of the world are engraved—a map of strategic fiction where conquest becomes a playful objective. Progressively, the board crumples until it loses its shape and legibility. The gesture symbolizes the destruction that conflicts inflict on reality: borders, cultures, and identities are bent and distorted. Like a crumpled sheet of paper that never returns to smooth, the world too bears permanent scars.
