NEREA SANGALLI
CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK
“Anatomie fossili” (Fossil Anatomies) develops beyond control over matter to establish a horizontal dialogue in which the medium responds, resists, and participates. Through slow processes—tea infusions, layering of absorbent paper, and waste materials—the substance is left free to mutate organically, evoking the calcareous structures of mushroom corals. The work reflects on cycles of erosion, sedimentation, and regeneration.
