Vincenzo Perri – Memento

“Memento” is a digital installation based on a program created by the artist that detects real-time deaths worldwide, translating each event into a visual-audio experience projected onto a wall. With each passing, the software generates a walking shadow and a piano note, both varying according to the cause of death. The work gives a new dimension to the deceased, rescuing them from the coldness of numbers through an infinite symphony that celebrates and reflects on the value of every life.
