CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK
The thesis research combines the conservative restoration of three Futurist artist’s books by F.T. Marinetti with a scientific experimentation on the deacidification of modern paper material. Through diagnostic and chemical investigations, a comparative study was conducted on four products applied to paper from 1951, evaluating pH increase, alkaline reserve, and potential changes undergone by the support over time.
