CONCEPT / SYNOPSIS OF THE WORK
Public restrooms are liminal spaces, thresholds suspended between control and liberation. Spazi occupati (Occupied Spaces) attempts to investigate these sites of temporary passage—sanctuaries of intimacy where the body becomes vulnerable and the possibility of inhabiting the margins of society emerges. The project listens to these traces to question reality, measuring the weight of the tension between anonymity and the profound desire to exist.
